The government of the United Kingdom has imposed new economic sanctions against Russia in response to the ongoing military invasion of Ukraine. According to the official statement, the measures affect four individuals, six organizations, and 20 vessels, including oil tankers, maritime companies, and suppliers of goods, mainly electronics, destined for Russia.

The sanctions are directed at all those who participate or have participated in actions that destabilize, undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty or independence of Ukraine. The Government of the United Kingdom reaffirms its commitment to impose additional restrictions on Russia until it ceases its aggression against the neighboring country.

The new sanctions package is the latest step in the United Kingdom's efforts to exert maximum pressure on Russia and force it to stop military action in Ukraine. The measures target individuals and organizations that support or are connected to the Russian invasion, with the aim of limiting their access to the British economy and financial system.
