Municipal councilors from "Vazrazhdane"-Burgas submitted two important proposals to the Municipal Council, aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses in the city, the press center of the political force announced. These proposals, whose goal is to facilitate the working environment for entrepreneurs, come at a time when economic activity in the region continues to be of key importance.

The first proposal, submitted by the municipal councilors, concerns a question of critical importance for the development of business - the creation and maintenance of an up-to-date online register of municipal non-residential properties. "Vazrazhdane" emphasizes that potential entrepreneurs often encounter significant difficulties when searching for information about vacant properties, as the existing lists are outdated and incomplete. The new register is expected to contain detailed data on vacant and occupied properties, including location, purpose, area, and legal status. The party emphasizes the importance of this step, taking into account the fact that micro-enterprises represent an impressive 94.7% of all business ventures in Burgas. It seems that this is an attempt to create better conditions for those who are the backbone of the local economy.

The second proposal focuses on the long-standing infrastructure problem in Industrial Zone "Pobeda". Although a regulatory plan for the service street "Zhivko Yordanov" was approved in 2017, it still suffers from the lack of critical infrastructure. No water and sewage network, street lighting, or adequate paving have been built. This problem, as noted by "Vazrazhdane"-Burgas, hinders the activity of dozens of companies operating in the area. The proposal envisages the preparation of an investment project and the inclusion of funds for its implementation in the municipality's budget for 2026. It is obvious that the councilors are trying to solve one of the main problems hindering business in this area.

The session of the Municipal Council in Burgas, at which these proposals will be discussed, is expected to be held at the end of the month. The result of these debates and how they will affect the business environment in the city is expected with great interest.
