Triumph at Monza

In an atmosphere filled with anticipation and adrenaline, Nikola Tsolov raced side by side with the best young drivers in the world. His talent and perseverance were rewarded with a second-place finish in the main Italian Grand Prix race, which is the tenth and final round of the championship. This impressive performance secured him the vice-champion title in the overall standings for the 2025 season.

"Huge congratulations to Nikola Tsolov for the second place in today's Formula 3 race at Monza" wrote Terziev. "This is yet another proof of his talent and hard work. After yesterday's wonderful Bulgarian day at the US Open, today we again have a reason for pride with a young Bulgarian talent" he added.

In his post, Mayor Terziev did not fail to mention that this triumph is another testament to Tsolov's talent and tireless work. He recalled the previous "wonderful Bulgarian day" at the US Open, emphasizing that young Bulgarian talents continue to make us happy and give us reasons for pride on the world stage. Tsolov's achievement is also particularly impressive because he contributed significantly to his team, Campos Racing, which for the first time in its history became the team champion.

"Sofia will continue to support you as before, because it believes in you!" Terziev added.

Commitment to Sports

In the context of Tsolov's achievement, Mayor Terziev also highlighted the commitment of the Sofia Municipality to the development of sports. He emphasized that the municipality supports not only professional, but also school, mass, and youth sports. The mayor pointed out that activities have already started on the approved projects from the "Sofia Sports" program and the Subprogram for the Development of Youth Sports. The total amount of funding is BGN 2,650,000, which will support over 230 organizations with a priority on promoting sports and physical activity in the capital. This is a clear sign that Sofia is investing in the future of its young talents, like Nikola Tsolov, who glorify the name of Bulgaria around the world.
