Within the framework of project BG05SFPR001-1.004-0071 "My World of Interests" of Burgas Municipality, financed by the "Education" Programme 2021-2027, co-financed by the European Union, two exciting events were held, united by the idea of tolerance and diversity.
On April 23, a joint concert was held in the Municipal Children's Complex in Sredets with the participation of children from Kindergarten "Zvezditsa Zornitsa" - Burgas and Kindergarten "Barborino" - Sredets. In a cozy and sunny environment, the little artists performed their program with music and dances. The hall was filled with many emotions and a desire to perform.
The children proved that they can communicate, play and have fun together, finding common interests and building mutual respect beyond all boundaries.
The event is the second under Activity 1 - "Working with children and students to implement intercultural education" of the project.
Within the framework of the same event, the awards from the drawing competition "The Colors of Spring" were presented, organized on the occasion of the Easter holidays in implementation of Activity 4 - "Conducting information campaigns aimed at preventing discrimination based on race, ethnic origin or religious affiliation".
The competition was held in the period 02.03 - 06.04.2026 in the two kindergartens, with children aged 3 to 7 years taking part in it. Through their works, the little artists expressed their vision of tolerance and spring renewal. The winners in the two age groups received material prizes, and all participants - certificates of participation.
The initiative is implemented by Burgas Municipality in partnership with Kindergarten "Zvezditsa Zornitsa" - Burgas, Kindergarten "Barborino" – Sredets and the Association "The Faithful Guardian".
