The official announcement from "Boulevard Bulgaria" on July 16, 2025, reveals a large-scale project for integrating refugee medical personnel. A group of 30 Ukrainian healthcare workers received an opportunity to legalize their professional qualifications through a specialized procedure.

The initiative is supported by a parliamentary foundation associated with Deputy Manol Peykov from the PP-DB political formation. The organization provided comprehensive support, including language training, transportation expenses, and logistics for taking the necessary exams.

Among those who successfully passed the procedure are specialists from various medical fields: neurologists, general practitioners, pediatric surgeons, imaging diagnostics experts, and master pharmacists. Specific names such as Dr. Nadya Kutsenko, Dr. Olena Kuksenko, and Dr. Anastasia Bordeeva were publicly announced.

Experts define this process as strategically important for overcoming the chronic shortage of medical personnel in Bulgaria. The integration program aims not only to provide professional realization for refugees but also to partially address staffing challenges in the national healthcare system.

The initiative demonstrates practical solidarity with Ukrainian specialists, providing them an opportunity for professional development and social adaptation during a military conflict.
