A Ukrainian women’s pair and the men’s team of "Hungary" captured the titles at the "Beach Pro Tour" beach volleyball tournament in the "Futures" category, held in "Sveti Vlas". The competition brought together strong international participation and, for the third consecutive year, confirmed its place in the beach volleyball calendar.

In the women’s draw, second place went to the pair from the "USA", while third place on the podium was claimed by the representatives of "Argentina". In the men’s bracket, the silver medals went to the duo from "Serbia", while the bronze awards were given to the team of "Ukraine".

The awards ceremony took place immediately after the final matches and was led by representatives of the tournament’s organisational and technical staff. Among the official guests were the director "Daniela Dineva", the organisational director "Iva Partaleva", the technical director "Lazar Kirilov" and the technical delegate "Hervin Brillemans".

The festive ceremony also featured "Anita Boshnakova", "Martin Boshnakov" and "Nadezhda Polyakova", who likewise presented medals and trophies to the prizewinners in the different categories. The winning teams were applauded by the crowd and fellow participants, with particular emphasis on the high sporting level of the tournament.

In a statement to BTA, the tournament director "Daniela Dineva" stressed that the competition is being held for a third consecutive year and is gradually establishing itself as an important fixture in the international beach volleyball calendar. She noted that the organisers provide good conditions for all participants and cited feedback from players from various countries, including "Australia" and "Argentina", who highly praised the organisation and conditions in "Sveti Vlas".

The ceremony was also attended by the Minister of Tourism "Ilin Dimitrov", who spoke with some of the athletes and underlined the importance of such events for the image of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. According to him, tournaments of this rank "contribute to promoting the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and present the country to an international audience".

The minister also drew attention to the broad international participation, pointing out that teams from more than 30 countries took part in the competition. He added that the tournament is broadcast abroad, which further boosts the visibility of "Bulgaria" as a destination for sports and seaside tourism.

"Dimitrov" further noted that the sand on the beach in "Sveti Vlas" meets high standards, as confirmed by specialised tests carried out in "Canada" before the tournament. In his view, this is yet more evidence that the location can host professional sports events at an international level.
