Turkish Interior Minister visits Bulgaria: Memorandum to be signed

The Turkish Minister of Interior arrives on an official visit to Bulgaria. The focus is on combating organized crime and cooperation between the academies.

Official visit of the Turkish Interior Minister to Bulgaria

The Minister of Interior of Turkey, Mustafa Çiftçi, is visiting Bulgaria. Within the framework of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding is scheduled to be signed between the police academies of the two countries, the Ministry of Interior press center announced.

A major focus of the talks will be the fight against the "new generation of organized criminal groups".

The two ministers are expected to make statements to the media immediately after the end of the working meeting.

The information about the visit was also confirmed by the Directorate of Communications of the Turkish Presidency, emphasizing the determination of the two countries for close cooperation in the field of security.
