Digitalization is a leading factor for changes in the Bulgarian labor market and creates new professional opportunities for hundreds of thousands of workers. Over 42% of Bulgarian IT companies, banks and international employers are moving to remote and hybrid employment, allowing employees to work from anywhere in the country.

Digital systems specialists, cyber security, data analysis, digital marketing and e-commerce are among the most sought after, with the average salary in the software sector already exceeding BGN 3,200 per month. Start-up online businesses are multiplying with a 17% annual growth, and the outsourcing industry is expanding its contacts to Europe and Asia.

The digital revolution also encourages career transitions to professions such as teachers, trainers, AI operators, video and graphic designers, as well as roles in the field of e-health. The training course is almost entirely online through qualification platforms and video internships.

AI personnel selection systems are already automatically analyzing candidates according to digital portfolios, and HR departments report a 22% faster process of filling new positions and over a 30% drop in administrative costs. "The Bulgarian labor market is ready for the next stage of digital transformation and global integration," according to an analysis by leading HR associations.

Digitalization not only accelerates employment and the exchange of information, but also makes Bulgaria a more flexible, innovative and attractive labor center for regional and global talents.
