Success for Nesebar swimmers on the international stage
SKP "Zlatno Slantse" – Nesebar recorded another strong performance at the 7th International Swimming Tournament "Brave Dolphins". The competition gathered the elite of swimming from Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, and Cyprus, with over 550 athletes from 46 clubs taking part.
The greatest recognition for the club is the official statistics, which ranked "Zlatno Slantse" third in terms of progress among all participating teams.
Individual successes and future hopes
The youngest swimmers of the club showed enviable zeal and competitiveness, finishing just a step away from the podium:
- Velislav Mishev (2018) – 4th place in the 50-meter backstroke.
- Boris Ivanov (2018) – 4th place in the 50-meter breaststroke.
- Georgiya Dimcheva (2016) – 4th place in the 50-meter breaststroke.
Looking ahead to the National Championship
In addition to the top placements, the tournament brought the athletes valuable experience and numerous personal records. The swimmers born in 2014 and 2015 are now very close to meeting the qualifying standards for the National Individual-Team Championship, which is the main goal for the coaching staff. The performance in the tournament is further proof of the professionalism in the school and a promising future for the young talents of Nesebar.
