The lead specialist of basketball Levski, Konstantin Papazov, undertook a comprehensive commentary regarding the current state of the national basketball team, demonstrating categorical optimism about future sports challenges.

During the official drawing ceremony for the upcoming 2025/2026 season in the National Basketball League, Papazov shared his professional perspective on the team's current results and potential.

A key point in his statement was related to the absence of leading player Sasho Vezenkov. The coach emphasized the player's exceptional emotional attachment to the national team, noting that despite current difficulties, the team has the necessary character and qualities.

Papazov directly commented on Vezenkov's injury, pointing out that such incidents are inevitable even for the best coaches in the world. He shared a specific example from the player's career, recalling his previous injury that temporarily prevented his participation in the NBA.

His categorical optimism regarding upcoming international matches was extremely indicative. Papazov predicted a victory over Austria by more than 12 points and emphasized the need for an initial victory over the Netherlands.

The specialist also drew attention to the challenges facing young Bulgarian basketball players, mentioning the specific case of Dancho Minchev. According to Papazov, the young man has made exceptional efforts to be part of the national team, demonstrating the strong patriotic spirit of contemporary Bulgarian athletes.
