European leaders will visit the United States on Monday or Tuesday to discuss ways to end the conflict in Ukraine. The news was announced by Donald Trump, who also specified that he plans to talk "soon" with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The American head of state made it clear that his administration is ready to move to a second phase of sanctions against Moscow. This statement is seen as a significant step in the efforts to exert economic pressure on Russia, whose military actions in Ukraine continue to escalate, despite international condemnation.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky supported the idea of additional sanctions, calling them "the right idea". He also called on European countries to stop buying Russian energy resources, emphasizing the need to cut off the financial flows that support the Kremlin's war machine. This call comes at a critical time, as the dependence of many European countries on Russian gas and oil remains a serious challenge.

Russia launched a massive air attack

Against the backdrop of these diplomatic maneuvers, Russia carried out its most massive air attack against Ukraine since the beginning of the war. According to data from the scene, the bombing has claimed at least four victims. For the first time since the beginning of the conflict, the main government building in Kyiv was also hit in the attack. Deafening explosions echoed through the capital, shaking buildings, and thick plumes of smoke rose over the affected areas. This brutal escalation of violence underscores the Kremlin's intransigence and raises new questions about the international community's ability to impose lasting peace. The bombing is a clear message of rejection of any diplomatic efforts and demonstrates Russia's determination to continue its military campaign, regardless of the human cost and international law.
