Another criminal case shook the tranquility of the small Black Sea village of Rosen, after a 57-year-old local resident lost his life under extremely dramatic circumstances. The incident was registered around 3 a.m., when police officers and a medical team were alerted via the emergency phone number 112.
Initial investigative actions revealed that the crime was committed by a 55-year-old tenant occupying the second floor of the same residential building. The two men had spent the previous hours jointly consuming alcoholic beverages, initially in a local drinking establishment, and subsequently continued drinking at home.
The conflict between the older men arose due to a minor financial dispute - likely over an unpaid small sum of money. The tension escalated to physical altercation, during which the tenant delivered multiple punches to the property owner.
The result was fatal - the owner immediately lost consciousness and died on the spot. The perpetrator, realizing the gravity of the act, initially tried to revive the victim, but unsuccessfully. Subsequently, he sought official help by alerting emergency services.
The criminal investigation uncovered an extremely alarming detail from the detained person's biography - he was released in February of last year from the Burgas prison, where he had served a 12-year sentence for a previous murder of a 34-year-old woman with whom he had been cohabiting in the Burgarovo area.
Competent authorities from the "Criminal Police" department at the Regional Ministry of Interior - Burgas and the Sozopol Police Station are working on the case under the direct supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office - Burgas. The perpetrator has been detained for up to 24 hours and has been formally charged with murder.
