Traffic is normal at all of Bulgaria's border crossings as of 6am today, the Border Police chief directorate said. The only exceptions are the Oryahovo-Becket and Svishtov-Zimnicea ferries, which are temporarily out of service because the Danube is too shallow.
Cars are crossing without problems at the other crossings with Romania, and the same is true on the Greek border. Only cars and minibuses weighing up to 3.5 tonnes can use Rudozem, Zlatograd, Makaza and Ivaylovgrad. Buses and lorries can also cross at Kulata, Ilinden and Kapitan Petko Voyvoda.
What happened before: Heavy traffic at Kapitan Andreevo border crossing towards Turkey
Traffic is also normal at all crossings on the borders with Turkey, Serbia and North Macedonia.
