Current situation at border crossings
Traffic at all border crossing points (BCP) with the Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia, and Turkey is proceeding normally, according to the General Directorate of Border Police.
Normal passage is also reported at the border with Romania, with traffic on the Danube Bridge at Ruse-Giurgiu moving in both lanes.
Restrictions on ferry connections
Due to the low water level of the Danube River, the "Oryahovo - Bechet" and "Svishtov - Zimnicea" ferry complexes remain temporarily closed to traffic.
Information for travelers to Greece
Traffic with Greece is also normal. The following vehicle restrictions have been implemented:
- Only passenger cars and vans up to 3.5 tons may pass through the "Rudozem", "Zlatograd", "Makaza", and "Ivaylovgrad" border crossings.
- The passage of passenger cars, buses, and heavy trucks is permitted through the "Kulata", "Ilinden", and "Kapitan Petko Voyvoda" border crossings.
