Current traffic at border crossings
Traffic is intensive at the Kalotina border checkpoint on the border with Serbia for incoming passenger cars, the Border Police announced this morning.
Southern border: Greece
Traffic on the border with Greece is normal at all border crossings. The situation is as follows:
- Vehicles up to 3.5 tons can pass through Rudozem, Zlatograd, Makaza, and Ivaylovgrad.
- All types of vehicles, including buses and trucks, pass through Ilinden, Kulata, and Kapitan Petko Voyvoda.
Northern border: Romania
Traffic is normal at all border crossings with Romania. It is important to note that repair works are being carried out in the Bulgarian section of the Ruse-Giurgiu crossing, and traffic there is being regulated.
Advice: Always check the current road conditions before traveling to avoid delays when crossing the border.
Other borders
Traffic is completely normal at all checkpoints on the borders with the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Turkey.
