The Plovdiv basketball club Lokomotiv continues purposefully to strengthen its squad before its debut season in the National Basketball League. The management announced its next key addition - attracting the 23-year-old basketball player Tomislav Minkov.
The athlete has a rich background in elite Bulgarian basketball. In the last five years, he was an integral part of the Akademik Bulteks 99 team, with which he achieved significant successes - winning bronze honors in the national championship and silver medals in the Balkan League.
In his professional career, Minkov has defended the colors of several clubs, including Chavdar Troyan and Athletic Sofia. His first steps in basketball are associated with the prestigious schools of Akademik Sofia, Levski, and Sports Talents.
The club officially presented the new addition, emphasizing his qualities: "With an impressive height of 197 cm, Tomislav will bring additional stability and explosiveness to the team composition". Minkov joins a series of former Akademik players, including Krastimir Mihov, Ioannis Kikrilis, and Georgi Kenderov.
