Tomislav Donchev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Innovation and Growth in resignation, stated that electoral technology should not replace political debate. He responded to a question from PP-DB regarding the readiness to purchase new voting devices for the upcoming early elections.

Donchev reminded that the Council of Ministers provides logistical support, with the leading role belonging to the Central Election Commission (CEC). Both institutions are obliged to comply with the law.

Asked about the budget, Donchev replied that the state does not have a budget, but rather expenditure ceilings from the previous year. He added that changing the electoral process at the last moment is common practice.

Grozdan Karadjov, Minister of Transport and Communications in resignation, also participated in the blitz control.
