Serious accident involving three motorcycles in Varna
Three motorcyclists were seriously injured in a traffic accident in Varna, police reported. The incident was reported last night at around 10:15 PM.
According to preliminary data, the three motorcyclists were traveling from Slivnitsa Blvd. towards the RHI (Regional Health Inspectorate) building when the first one braked suddenly, leading to a chain-reaction collision.
Condition of the victims
An emergency medical team was passing by the scene of the incident and immediately provided first aid. The victims have been admitted to St. Anna Hospital:
- 34-year-old woman: In the most critical condition – in a coma, on mechanical ventilation, with a severe traumatic brain injury and spinal injury.
- 25-year-old man: Admitted to the intensive care unit with a lung contusion; his condition is improving.
- 26-year-old man: Admitted to neurosurgery with head and chest injuries, conscious.
The investigation into the causes of the crash continues.
