The television giants "Division" and "Studio" dominate the Emmy® race 2025

Leading TV productions "Division" and "The Studio" occupied the top positions in this year's nominations for prestigious television awards, winning 27 and 23 accolades in the dramatic and comedy categories, respectively.

The American Television Academy announced the official nominations for the 77th Annual Emmy® Awards, with the fantasy dystopian series "Severance" standing out as an undisputed leader in dramatic productions with an impressive 27 nominations.

In this year's ceremony, which will be held on September 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the comedy series "The Studio" also demonstrates exceptional potential with 23 nominations, placing it at the top of the comedy category.

The prestigious awards, presented by nearly 20,000 members of the American Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, traditionally pay tribute to the most remarkable achievements in the television industry.

In the dramatic race for best production, eight remarkable series will compete: "Andor", "Hap", "Severance", "Slow Horses", The Diplomat, "Pittsburgh Emergencies", "The Last Survivors", and "The White Lotus".

The comedy category will be no less contested with the nominated "Shrinking", "Bear", "The Studio", "Murders in the Building", "Abbott Elementary", Nobody Wants This, Shrinking, and "What We Do in the Shadows".

In the individual dramatic actor categories, Sterling Brown, Gary Oldman, Pedro Pascal, Adam Scott, and Noah Wyle will compete, while among actresses we will see Kathy Bates, Sharon Horgan, Brit Lower, Bella Ramsey, and Keri Russell.

Comedy actor nominations include Seth Rogen, Martin Short, Jeremy Allen White, Adam Brody, and Jason Segel, while among actresses will compete Uzo Aduba, Kristen Bell, Quinta Brunson, Jean Smart, and Ayo Edebiri.

Additional categories such as talk shows and reality competitions were announced earlier on CBS Mornings, with nominees including The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Amazing Race, RuPaul's Drag Race, "Survivor", Top Chef, and The Traitors.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS, with expectations that it will be one of the most significant television events of the year.
