SwimRun Nessebar 2026 – a sports adventure by the sea
On June 28, 2026, Nessebar will once again become the stage for SwimRun Nessebar – the only competition of its kind in Bulgaria that combines swimming and running into a single discipline.
This is not just a competition, but a way to experience the magic of Old Nessebar through sports.
What is the course like?
Participants will complete three consecutive laps covering:
- 400 meters of swimming in the waters around the jetty;
- 2400 meters of running along the picturesque promenade, part of the "Most Beautiful 5 km".
The total distance is carefully planned to offer an intense experience for both professionals and amateurs.
Important information for participants
The start, finish, and transition zone are located at the jetty in the Old Town. Participants can register individually or as relay teams (swimmer and runner).
The organizers remind that luggage storage will be provided, and the Municipality of Nessebar supports the event as part of its strategy for the development of active sports tourism.
