The traditional gathering of name-days celebrants in Burgas on the occasion of the holiday of St. Nicholas brought together dozens of people. The youngest participant is 3-month-old Nikola, and the oldest participant is 82-year-old Nikolina Popova.
Despite the bad weather, people from Burgas with the name Nikolay and its derivatives gathered in front of the Municipality of Burgas to share their holiday. This year's photo also included Nikol, 1 year and 4 months old, as well as Mayor Dimitar Nikolov.
Traditionally, all participants will receive free copies of the photo. They can get them on December 9th from the stand of the municipal social enterprise "Morski znaci" in the Tourist Information Center opposite the Clock.
This year, there are 7,335 name-day celebrants in the Municipality of Burgas, and 5,748 in the city. The oldest is 97-year-old grandfather Nikita Zinovskiy, and the youngest is Nikolay Vasilev, born just 2 days ago.
