Events dedicated to the feast day of the seaside city began with a solemn divine liturgy in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and the well-being of Burgas. The service in the church "St. Nicholas the Wonderworker", in the residential complex "Meden Rudnik" was led by His Eminence Metropolitan Arseny of Sliven, with the participation of priests from the Burgas Orthodox clergy. Deputy Mayor for Culture and Religious Affairs, Diana Savateva, attended the liturgy. Dozens of Burgas residents flocked to the church to pray for health and well-being.
