"St. Kliment Ohridski" Secondary School in the Burgas district of "Rudnik" opened a STEM center for mathematics, informatics, and natural sciences. The event began with folklore performances.
Official guests attended the opening, including the head of the Regional Education Department, Valentina Kamalieva, and the school principal, Zhivka Gergova.
The new STEM center has two high-tech classrooms. They are equipped with "all-in-one" computers, an interactive whiteboard, a stereoscopic zSpace Inspire laptop, 3D glasses, a 3D printer, a LEGO construction kit, and a cutting machine.
The center also has a renovated geography and economics classroom.
The creation of the STEM center is part of the school's and Burgas municipality's strategy for modern education.
It will support students in developing practical skills and interest in STEM fields.
The modern STEM center was built under the "School STEM Environment" procedure of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, supported by the European Union.
