Cold front will pass through the country and stir the sea today

A cold atmospheric front is passing through the country, bringing wind gusts, while sunny weather and temperatures up to 29°C will be observed on the Black Sea coast.

A cold front will pass over the country today. This will bring temporary cloudiness, but no significant rainfall for most of the day. Winds will be coming from the northwest and will strengthen with gusts.

In Western Bulgaria, temperatures will drop slightly, while they will remain high in the eastern parts. Maximum values will range between 26° and 31°, with Sofia reaching around 26°. In the mountains, it will be mostly sunny with temporary increases in cloud cover. In some areas, primarily in the Rila-Rhodope region, brief showers are expected around and after midday. Moderate to strong northwesterly winds will blow. At 1200 meters, temperatures will reach around 20°, and at 2000 meters, around 12°.

The Black Sea coast will experience predominantly sunny weather, although cloudiness will increase temporarily around and after midday. Light rain is possible along the northern coast. Maximum temperatures in the region will be between 25° and 29°, with Burgas at 28°. Minimum temperatures will be up to 16°. Sea water temperature will be between 23° and 24°, and sea swell will be 2-3 Beaufort.
