Construction ban in Pomorie Municipality – Summer 2026

The Mayor of Pomorie Municipality, Ivan Aleksiev, has issued an official order No. RD-16-959/03.06.2026, which introduces a complete ban on all construction and assembly works within the territory of the town of Pomorie and the town of Aheloy, including in resort complexes and holiday villages.

Ban period: from 15.06.2026 to 15.09.2026.

Exceptions to the ban

The order does not affect specific sites of public importance, including:

In accordance with Art. 15, para. 4 of the Spatial Planning Act for the Black Sea Coast, construction activities will only be permitted for urgent emergency repairs and geoprotective measures.

The order may be appealed before the Administrative Court – Burgas within a 14-day period, but this does not stay the execution of the Municipal Council's decision.
