Current data on social security income
The National Social Security Institute (NSSI) has announced the official data for the average social security income in the country. In May 2026, it reached 1033.62 euros.
For the period from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026, the average monthly social security income is set at 989.23 euros.
What does this mean for newly granted pensions?
According to Art. 70, para. 3 of the Social Security Code, this value is of key importance for calculating pensions granted in June 2026.
