Historical success for Daniel Trifonov in Varna
Bulgarian gymnast Daniel Trifonov delighted sports fans by winning the prestigious silver medal in the men's vault final. The Artistic Gymnastics World Cup at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna became the stage for his exceptional performance.
Trifonov demonstrated perfect technique and high concentration, which earned him a well-deserved 14.083 points.
A contested battle until the last second
The difference between the medalists was minimal. Here is the top three:
- Chun Chen (Malaysia) – 14.183 pts.
- Daniel Trifonov (Bulgaria) – 14.083 pts.
- Botond Molnár (Hungary) – 14.050 pts.
Trifonov's second attempt was the highlight of the competition – excellent height, powerful speed, and a stable landing that brought the audience in the hall to their feet.
