Burgas, October 4, 2025 – The Toncho Rusev Hall in the NHK was filled with people from Burgas who came to enjoy the performance "The Last Night of Socrates".

The audience gave a long standing ovation to Ivaylo Hristov, Atanas Atanasov, and Irini Zambonas. The magnificent trio of actors presented a reading directed by Sunny Suninski. The production was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of THEATER 199 "Valentin Stoychev".

The premiere is part of the program of the Port Prim Art Fest Arts Festival, organized by Grand Hotel and SPA Primoretz, with the support of Burgas Municipality.

The performance, based on the dramaturgy of Stefan Tsanev, provoked deep reflections in the hall. The viewers, captivated by the dramatic twists and philosophical judgments, were forced to rethink themes such as life, death, freedom, and democracy. The production also raises the question of the possible end of the world, presenting the clash between the last two surviving men, who, in their striving for victory and power, symbolize the devolution of humanity. The theme of masters and slaves, of prisoners and jailers, as well as the question "who is who in reality" provoked deep reflections among those present.

Today, on the last day of the Port Prim Art Fest, Burgas is expecting another special guest. Journalist and traveler Georgi Milkov will be at Grand Hotel and SPA Primoretz from 4:30 PM to present his new book "Rhinoceros in the Bathroom".

The event will offer books, autographs and is open to all visitors, with free admission.

Port Prim Art Fest 2025 supports Burgas' candidacy for European Capital of Culture in 2032.
