"Vasil Levski - Sofia" Airport announced on its official "Facebook" page the upcoming expansion of its destination network by adding new flights to three European capitals. The announcement highlights the partnership with low-cost airlines, which allows for more affordable travel.
The first announced destination is Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. Flights there will be operated by "Wizz Air", promising two flights a week - every Thursday and Sunday. It seems that this is a step towards strengthening the ties between the two countries and providing a convenient transport corridor for passengers.
The second announced destination is Krakow, Poland. "Ryanair" will operate regular flights to this historical city three times a week. Flights will be operated on Monday, Friday, and Sunday, providing flexibility for travelers. Central European airspace is becoming increasingly accessible.
The opening of a new connection with Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is also expected. Flights to Prague will start on October 27th and will be operated four times a week, again by "Wizz Air". Flights are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. This will likely provide significant travel opportunities, both for business and tourist purposes.
