Another terrorist act by Russian armed forces caused tragic consequences in the southern Ukrainian city of Odesa. According to official data from the State Emergency Service, the night shelling caused large-scale fires in residential areas that threatened the lives of local residents.

Rescue teams worked under extremely risky circumstances – amid dense suffocating smoke, among destroyed structures and at extremely high temperatures. Their professionalism allowed five people to be saved from burning apartments, although unfortunately one woman lost her life during the incident.

The international community continues its attempts at diplomatic resolution of the conflict. While Donald Trump sets another deadline for ceasefire, and European institutions discuss new sanctions mechanisms, Ukraine continues to suffer immediate human losses.

Russian aggression appears targeted and merciless – instead of seeking a peaceful solution, the military leadership continues systematic destruction of civilian population, turning the war into a methodical terror campaign.
