Caretaker Cabinet Proposes Easter Supplements for Pensioners: How Much Will They Receive?

The caretaker cabinet is discussing the allocation of Easter supplements for over 1.6 million pensioners. The amounts range from 20 to 50 euros, depending on the size of the pension.

The caretaker government will consider a proposal to grant Easter supplements to over 1,600,000 pensioners on the occasion of the upcoming holidays, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (MLSP) announced.

Pensioners with pensions up to 390.63 euros will receive 50 euros, and those with pensions between 390.64 and 620.20 euros – 20 euros.

The proposal is from the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Hassan Ademov.

The necessary funds are 57,800,000 euros, which will be transferred from the state budget to the budget of the National Social Security Institute (NSSI).

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) also submitted a proposal for supplements, offering 55 euros for pensioners below the poverty line.
