Recovery after the hurricane in the Burgas region

The situation in the resorts south of Burgas is normalizing after yesterday's powerful storm. The areas of Primorsko and Tsarevo were hit hardest after hurricane-force winds uprooted trees and tore off roofs.

There are over 65 reports of fallen trees, and dozens of basements and floors have been flooded due to accidents in the water supply and sewerage network.

Emergency repair work is being carried out on a residential building in Primorsko after a roof structure crashed into it. Fortunately, the incident involving a 6-year-old child resulted in only minor injuries.

Damages in the city of Varna

Varna is also recovering after torrential rains, during which over 52 liters per square meter fell. Fire safety services responded to over 100 calls.

Despite the serious material damage, institutions are working on the full clearing of the road network and restoring the normal rhythm of life.
