Revelations about Delyan Peevski's private flights
During a parliamentary hearing, Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev presented scandalous data regarding the travels of MRF chairman Delyan Peevski on private aircraft.
"It is a paradoxical fact for me that a constitutional judge, albeit a future one, and someone sanctioned under the Global Magnitsky Act were on the same private flight," stated Demerdzhiev.
The minister confirmed that a joint trip from Sofia to Dubai by Delyan Peevski and Desislava Atanasova was recorded on April 5, 2024. An interesting detail is that only four days after the flight, Atanasova officially took office as a constitutional judge.

- A total of 227 flights from Sofia Airport for the period from 2018 to the present.
- 181 of these flights were carried out on private jets.
According to Demerdzhiev, such a combination of individuals on board a private flight would raise serious questions in any civilized country.
