The diplomatic representation of Bulgaria in Toronto will officially initiate today, on July 29, a ceremony for the opening of a special monument - "The Friendship Bench between Bulgaria and Canada".
The ceremony is planned for 12:00 local time and will be held at a specific location - 75806 Parr Line in the Canadian city of Varna, Ontario province.
The consulate representatives emphasize the symbolic significance of the initiative, defining it as an exceptional expression of gratitude towards the Bulgarian community in Canada and a strategic attempt to deepen intercultural connections.
"We look forward to sharing this important community moment," reads the official message of the diplomatic representation, which highlights the collective spirit of the event.
