The professional football team FC Dobrudzha officially announced the termination of contractual relations with Simeon Veshev, as reported by the club's media channels. The decision was made after an in-depth analysis of the player's sports form and capabilities.
The 31-year-old midfielder arrived at the team during the winter of 2024 as part of the transfer campaign, coming directly from Dunav (Ruse). His contribution was key to winning promotion to the top football division, but subsequently, injuries significantly hindered his performance.
The club's management assessed that Veshev was significantly behind the required level of preparation and had no real prospects of establishing himself in the main lineup. This fact predetermined the mutual decision to terminate the contractual relations.
In his professional career, the footballer has worn the jerseys of several Bulgarian teams. Besides Dunav (Ruse), Veshev has defended the colors of Maritsa (Plovdiv), Strumska Slava (Radomir), and Neftohimik (Burgas), which demonstrates his significant experience in domestic football.
It remains to be seen what Simeon Veshev's next sporting destination will be, and his vacant position at FC Dobrudzha will likely be filled with a new player.
