A driver hit a 49-year-old woman on a pedestrian crossing in Burgas, police announced. The incident, which threw the local residents into turmoil, unfolded in a busy area of the city.
According to information from the police bulletin, the serious incident happened on November 11th. The scene of the accident is the intersection of "Al. G. Kojakafaliyata" and "Petko Rosen" streets, near block 381 in the "Meden Rudnik" complex. Eyewitnesses tell of the rapid arrival of ambulances and police at the scene.
A 34-year-old driver from the town of Elhovo was driving the car that caused the accident. According to the police report, the driver made a left turn, in which he did not give way to the pedestrian. As a result, he hit the 49-year-old woman from Burgas, who was crossing on a pedestrian crossing.
Fortunately, the initial reports on the woman's condition give hope. She suffered traumatic shock, but for the moment there is no danger to her life. She was examined in a hospital, where she received the necessary medical care.
