Chess Tournament "Asenevtsi" in Pomorie: Free Lessons and Competitions for Children

On April 23, 2026, a round of the National Chess Tournament "Asenevtsi" will be held in Pomorie. The event, organized by the Chess Club "Asenevtsi" and the Municipality of Pomorie, offers free lessons, competitions, and prizes for children with the aim of promoting chess.

The "Asenevtsi" Chess Club is organizing a large-scale national chess tour aimed at promoting chess among young people and providing opportunities for free training.

For the third consecutive year, Pomorie Municipality is supporting the tour, partnering with the "Asenevtsi" Chess Club. On April 23, 2026 /Thursday/ from 10:00 AM in the garden next to the "Svetlina 1939" Community Center in the "St. George" district, a round of the "Asenevtsi" National Chess Tour will be held. The event is under the patronage of Mayor Ivan Aleksiev and is expected to be attended by over 100 children from "Ivan Vazov" Secondary School and "Hristo Botev" Primary School - Pomorie.

The aim of the tour is to demonstrate the benefits of chess for children's development. Free courses and competitions will encourage more children to participate in the chess family.
