Free tuberculosis screenings in Burgas
As part of the National Program for Prevention and Control of Tuberculosis, SBALPFZ – Burgas EOOD is participating in the "Open Doors Week" campaign. The goal is to improve early diagnosis and prevention of the disease.
Tuberculosis is a completely curable disease when detected in time and treated adequately according to international standards.
When and how can you get examined?
- Period: June 15 – 19, 2026
- Time: 09:00 – 12:00
- Services: Screening via survey, consultations with specialists, examinations, and additional tests if necessary.
Why is prevention important?
Despite the decline in morbidity, tuberculosis remains a threat to public health. Social factors, smoking, and chronic diseases increase the risk of infection. Screening is key to limiting the spread and preventing the progression of the disease.
