The Ministry of Environment and Water (MOEW) announced high levels of water resources and monitoring of the condition of the reservoirs. The total volume of the complex reservoirs is 75.58% of their total volume.
The “Asenovets” and “Pchelina” reservoirs are 100% full. More than 90% full are: “Srechenska bara”, “Hristo Smirnenski”, “Kamchia”, “Yasna polyana”, “Borovitsa”, “Studena”, “Aheloy”, “Domlyan”, “Topolnitsa”, “Alexander Stamboliyski”, “Krichim” and “Studen Kladenets”.
The “Asenovets” and “Pchelina” reservoirs are overflowing, without danger to the population. Preventive discharge is carried out at “Trakiec” and “Koprinka”.
River levels are stabilizing, no precipitation and unfavorable meteorological conditions are expected in the coming days.
Local authorities must implement the measures provided for in the Flood Risk Management Plans and monitor the up-to-date information.
The annual monitoring of the water condition has begun.
