Roe deer rescued by police in Burgas and the zoo, rehabilitated and returned to the wild

Police in Burgas rescued a roe deer attacked by predators in Arkutino. The animal was treated at the zoo and successfully rehabilitated. It will be released back into the wild tomorrow.

A police team in Burgas noticed a distressed deer in Arkutino, attacked by predators. The animal jumped into the water in an attempt to save itself.

Assistance was sought from the director of the Burgas Zoo, who participated in the rescue and hospitalized the deer. The wounds were treated.

For two days, the deer was under round-the-clock care and treatment at the zoo. Thanks to the efforts of the specialists, it is recovering.

The deer has fully recovered and will be released tomorrow in a nature reserve in Arkutino, in the presence of specialists.
