An authoritative aviation specialist Bogdan Dolintse revealed details about the capacity of the Russian unmanned aerial vehicle industry during a television interview. According to his expert assessments, monthly drone production exceeds 5000 units, with at least half being the Iranian "Shahid" model.
The key challenge for the Russian side is not so much the number of unmanned vehicles, but the preparation of qualified operators and determining strategically important targets. For a large-scale attack with a thousand drones in a day, about ten days of accumulation are required.
The experience of Russian military personnel on the night of July 4 was extremely indicative, when they applied an innovative tactic during an attack on the capital Kyiv. The used drones demonstrated exceptional maneuverability - dynamically changing their trajectory in height and direction, which significantly complicated air defense.
The expert predicts that with the increase in production capacity, the period for preparing large-scale drone attacks will continue to be reduced, which poses serious challenges for Ukrainian defense.
