On the morning of August 9, the military forces of the Russian Federation carried out a large-scale offensive operation against the Dnipro region, delivering precise missile strikes on urban and rural areas. The damage from the attack affected multiple settlements, including Dnipro, Nikopol, and Synelnykove.
The city of Dnipro was at the epicenter of the attack, where three civilians were wounded during the shelling – a 41-year-old woman and two men aged 21 and 29. The injured were immediately transported to a local hospital for medical assistance with a moderate condition assessment.
The damages include partial destruction of production territory, damaged vehicles, and an unused building. Artillery shelling and drone attacks continued in the Nikopol district, affecting Nikopol, Myrivska, Marhanets, and Pokrovska communities.
The damages in the area include a partially destroyed residential building, damaged utility structures, and compromised power transmission infrastructure. Particularly dramatic was the incident in Myrivska community, where an FPV drone caused a fire in an agricultural building on the evening of August 8.
The Synelnykove district also suffered significant damage, with unmanned devices hitting a private property and a residential block, causing ignition. The information is confirmed by the regional media center Suspilne Dnipro.
