The Regional Election Commission (REC) in Burgas decided to open two more mobile polling stations in the municipality of Ruen for the election day on April 19. The decision has been published on the commission's website.
The measure is necessary following an additional 30 applications from citizens with permanent disabilities who have expressed their desire to exercise their right to vote through a mobile ballot box. The REC was notified of this by the deputy mayor of the municipality of Ruen.
With the expansion of the organization, the mobile polling stations in the municipality will total three for the upcoming extraordinary parliamentary elections. The first one was determined earlier this month, after 15 applications were submitted by voters with disabilities.
