The repair work on the football stadium in the Burgas neighborhood of "Vetren" is entering its final phase, with the complete renovation of the facility expected to be finished by mid-September. The ambitious project, which is being carried out in cooperation with the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU), aims to transform the stadium into a modern and functional sports base that will serve the needs of local clubs.
One of the key elements of the reconstruction is the replacement of the old surface with a top-class artificial turf. Its installation is already underway, and the new surface is expected to withstand a significantly greater load. This is of great importance for the sports life in the city, as it will allow a larger number of Burgas teams to conduct their training on the field.
In addition to the modern surface, the stadium now also has new, powerful lighting. This improvement is of exceptional importance for optimizing the training process. With the installation of the lighting system, teams will be able to use the facility in the late hours of the day as well, which will ease their schedules and provide a more flexible training regimen.
The Municipality of Burgas expressed its gratitude to the Bulgarian Football Union for the fruitful partnership that makes this project possible.
