Temporary traffic organization on the bridge near Simeonovgrad
From August 3 to September 29, a temporary traffic organization will be introduced on the bridge over the Maritsa River, located on road III-554 Nova Zagora – Simeonovgrad. The reason is a planned repair of the facility's expansion joints.
During the repair works, traffic will be diverted in stages into one lane, with two-way traffic being maintained in the free lane.
Main parameters of the repair works:
- Total length of the bridge: 400 meters.
- Scope of repair: Replacement of 8 expansion joints (4 in each direction).
- Restrictions: Staged closure of sections approximately 50 meters long.
The Road Infrastructure Agency urges drivers to drive with increased caution, strictly follow traffic rules and the posted speed limits. Do not attempt risky overtaking to ensure the safety of all road users.
