Traffic changes on road E-79 towards Greece: Important information for drivers

Reversible traffic has been introduced at the 375th km of the I-1 Sofia-Kulata road. Check the current situation at the border crossings with Greece and the advice from the Road Infrastructure Agency (API).

Reversible traffic at kilometer 375 of road E-79

The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) has introduced a temporary traffic organization in the area of kilometer 375 of road I-1 (E-79) Sofia – Kulata, Blagoevgrad region. In the section from km 375 to km 376, traffic is distributed into two lanes in the direction of Sofia and one lane in the direction of Kulata.

Drivers should proceed with increased caution, adjusted speed, and strictly observe the temporary road signaling.

Situation at border crossings with Greece

At the moment, traffic at the "Kulata" border checkpoint and other points along the border with Greece is proceeding normally, according to the General Directorate of "Border Police".

Travelers are advised to plan their route in advance and stay informed about the current situation before departure.
