Red Bull RB17: A Technical Masterpiece by Adrian Newey
Red Bull Advanced Technologies is entering the final phase of development for its long-awaited RB17 hypercar. The project, led by legendary designer Adrian Newey, is conceived as a machine that not only approaches but in certain metrics even surpasses modern Formula 1 cars.
RB17 was created with a single goal: to offer its owners a pure racing experience, free from the regulations of official championships.
Key Features and Power
- Engine: 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V10 unit from Cosworth, assisted by an electric motor.
- Power: A total of 1200 horsepower.
- Weight: Under 900 kilograms, ensuring an incredible power-to-weight ratio.
- Dynamics: Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds and a top speed of around 350 km/h.
Exclusivity and Design
The production plan is strictly limited – only 50 units will be produced, and all of them have already found their owners. The price of approximately 6.7 million dollars did not stop collectors from purchasing this engineering benchmark.
The design is focused entirely on aerodynamics and minimalism. The interior lacks unnecessary digital screens, with the focus falling on mechanical controls. The unconventional access system via front-opening doors allows the driver to literally drop into the cockpit, enhancing the feeling of a true racing car.
In a world dominated by mass electrification, the RB17 remains true to mechanical precision, proving that the passion for high-speed machines still has its place.
