An investigation has been launched in Nessebar into the death of a dog thrown from an apartment. The owner, a French citizen, has been detained. The dog was a Yorkshire Terrier.

An investigation has begun in Nessebar following the death of a dog thrown from the sixth floor of a residential building. The information was confirmed by the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior-Burgas. The incident, which shocked the local community, prompted a pre-trial investigation.

The animal's body was found in the courtyard of a residential building located on "Vasil Levski" Street No. 4 A. The events unfolded yesterday, and the report of the tragedy was filed by residents of the building. They reported a dead dog of the Yorkshire Terrier breed.

The investigation showed that the dog was thrown out by its owner, a French citizen. The woman explained that the animal was sick and for this reason, she took the extreme action. Law enforcement officers tested the woman for alcohol use, and the breathalyzer showed 1.54 per mille. Subsequently, she was detained for up to 24 hours. The sight at the scene of the incident was severe, leaving a lasting impression on the witnesses.
