Director Stoicho Kerev finalizes a large-scale research project that reveals the hidden layers of social control. His new documentary work "Control Project" delves into the complex labyrinths of media influences and institutional pressures.
The film presents ten unique personal stories from different social environments – journalists, researchers, and direct witnesses of manipulative practices. The production is realized with the support of the National Culture Fund, which guarantees a professional approach to the extremely sensitive topic.
Premiere screenings are planned for August 2025 in two significant cultural centers – Varna and Sofia. In addition to the film, the organizers are planning in-depth discussion formats that will allow the audience to delve deeper into the issues of contemporary manipulative techniques.
