A sharp parliamentary discussion was provoked by the disclosure of a large-scale illegal cigarette factory, during which over 100 million cigarette pieces were seized. The co-chairman of the political formation "Yes, Bulgaria" Bozhidar Bozhanov raised serious questions to the Ministry of Interior regarding a possible information leak.

In an official statement, Bozhanov pointed out specific suspicions of dubious connections between the potential owners of the factory and influential political figures. According to his information, the main suspect Petleshkov managed to escape to the United Arab Emirates, having been warned by the Ministry of Interior.

The intrigue deepens with the fact that during the specialized police operation, only two shepherds were found on site, which raises additional questions about the methods and effectiveness of the investigation.

Parallel to the revelations, the political formation "Yes, Bulgaria" announced its participation in a civil protest organized by the "Justice for All" initiative. The purpose of the protest is to express sharp criticism of the prosecutor's actions and systemic violations in law enforcement agencies.

According to statements by political leaders, the case reveals deep problems in the law enforcement system. They insist on a full investigation of the circumstances surrounding the illegal cigarette factory, including potential political connections and information leaks.

The Svilengrad court took initial procedural actions, releasing the detained persons associated with the illegal production on bail of 6,000 leva. This move further intensified public interest in the case.

The investigation continues, with the Minister of Interior Daniel Mitov expected to provide an official response to the raised questions regarding a possible leak of classified information.

Media coverage of the case continues to maintain high public interest, with additional revelations expected in the coming days.
